COAL HEAD, TOADTSTOOL MOUTH AND OTHER STORIES at The Edinburgh Fringe 2011.
Enter a realm of magic, mime and marionettes in this visually enchanting collection of absurd and twisted tales, drawing together burlesque, folklore and physical theatre. Coal Head, Toadstool Mouth and Other Stories explores the terrible, grotesque, surreal, sublime, confusing, ecstatic and downright stupid moments in our lives through its uniquely crafted and strangely sympathetic jumble of characters. Witness the return of critically acclaimed SUDS Theatre Company with more ‘powerful storytelling’ and ‘engaging eccentricity’ (List, 2009) in Coal Head, Toadstool Mouth and Other Stories. Enthralling characters and innovative storytelling unlike anything else at the Fringe.
A beautifully mystical piece of storytelling performed from 8th-27th August 2011 at the spaces@ Symposium Hall.
‘…Highly creative…SUDS Theatre Company whisks the audience away on an enchanting and thoroughly entertaining theatrical journey’ (**** Broadway Baby, 2011)

THREE STARS at The Brighton Fringe 2011
Dominic’s one goal in life was to become a stand up comedian but after his debut show receives unfavourably average reviews he decides to seek retribution against those he deems responsible. New and original dark comedy that reflects the lengths people will go to in an attempt to keep up an identity.
Performed from 17th-21st May 2011 at the Brighton Media Centre Studio.
INNAMORATI (THE LOVERS) The Brighton Fringe, 2010
A creative piece of devised physical Comedia dell’arte performed from 12th-15th May upstairs at The Lecturn, Brighton.
A theatre production devised by a young and talented group of women. Comedic, profound and beautiful, the piece is inspired by the age old story of Romeo and Juliet, concerned with love and life and raspberry jam. This is experimental, physical, storytelling with a wry edge. Masks meet codpieces; silly battles it out with serious and the grotesque lies within the beautiful in this experimental piece of devised theatre that will “twist the eye and please the heart.”
‘physical theatre which goes all the way. Cutting edge, challenging and daring.’ (The Argus)
LAST NIGHT, THINGS HAPPENED at the Edinburgh Fringe 2009.
An extraordinary new piece of writing by Christopher Harrisson, being performed at the Underbelly, in the Belly Button, 6–22 August, 1.45pm for the Edinburgh Fringe 2009!
Absurd, fantastical and flamboyant characters weave their stories into Boy’s journey home. Twisted and touching, it is a show that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. Dark pathos is combined with a healthy dose of comedy, engaging physical performance and, of course, good old-fashioned story telling.
‘Mind alteringly brilliant’ (Fest Magazine) – ‘Discipline and Punish’, 2008
***** ‘Thoroughly engaging theatre’ (The Scotsman) – ‘The Hypochondriac’, 2006
